Description
Summary:碩士 === 中原大學 === 化學研究所 === 98 === Abstract The syntheses and structures of a series of copper compounds [Cu2(OAc)4(L1)2] (L1 = 2-amino-5-chloropyrimidine), 1, [Cu2(OAc)4(L2)2] (L2 = 2-amino-5-bromopyrimidine), 2 and [Cu2(OAc)4(L3)2] (L3 = 2-amino-5-iodopyrimidine), 3, are reported. All compounds have been structurally characterized by X-ray crystallography. Compounds 1 – 3 show the same structural type and each Cu2+ ion center adopts a distorted square pyramidal geometry. The basal position of the square pyramid is occupied by four oxygen atoms from four different carboxylate groups and the apical position is occupied by a nitrogen atom. The acetate anion adopts the syn,syn – η1:η1:μ2 bonding mode and bridge the Cu(Ⅱ) centers, forming a paddle-wheel type structure. The N-H---N, halogen - halogen and π – π stacking interactions were found in the structures, which link the molecules to form 2-D and 3-D supramolecular structures. The thermal properties of compounds 1 - 3 are also discussed.
