Summary: | 碩士 === 建國科技大學 === 自動化工程系暨機電光系統研究所 === 98 === In this project, implementing power and harmonic monitoring system for arc furnace based on time-frequency analysis is proposed. This novel power monitoring system makes use of discrete Gabor transform to reveal the harmonics and their magnitudes of a time-varying signal along time axis, such as voltage or current of arc furnace. Time-frequency analysis outplays the conventional frequency domain analysis in such a way that it can be used to spot any specific frequency with amplitude in time axis easily. More dynamic information of power and harmonic in arc furnace can be disclosed for further studies and designs, either passive or active power filters。
