The d-borneol after purification is forming crystallization. It is also have stimulation and sublimation property that can’t use in the cosmetic product widely. Therefore, in this study, we used the method of saturated water solution and freeze drying to remove the part of not inclusion borneol and then drying. The recovery rate of borneol β-cyclodextrin powder is 84.9 ± 2.9 %. Evaluation the index of the β-cyclodextrin inclusion rate in complex by the scanning electron microscope (SEM) and fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectrometer. The inclusion rate is assayed by gas chromatography (91.1 ± 3.2 %). Furthermore, we also inspected the temperature influence of β-cyclodextrin inclusion and mixtures. The result showed β-cyclodextrin inclusion is more stable. Otherwise, the inclusion can decrease the odor, the rate of sublimation and hope application in cosmetics in future.
