Undoubtedly, as the solar energy is the best substitution, every countries are going to research and develop about it. Both the current of energy conservation and carbon reduction and limited store of petroleum make the photovoltaic production continuously grow up over a long period of time. However, because the global related manufacturers continuously in great quantities put into the industry of the photovoltaic, and it makes the supply range significantly exceed demand, especially in 2009. The solar energy photovoltaic industry related manufacturers will face fierce competition, which results that the worse–operated manufacturers will be at risk of elimination, but also the manufacturers with good competitiveness will gain less profit. On the other hand, the global solar energy photovoltaic industry has already turned into a new stage after the financial tsunami, and there are many new challenges in the aspects of international competition, integration of up and down sream firm, quest of new technique, ability of global strategy and operation etc. For example, the research organization Energy Trendnergy Trend in March, 2010 announce a research paper to point out that the solar energy solar energy photovoltaic industry will be toward the situation of growing dominance of major players. This study uses financial five-force analysis to measure the enterprise performance after merger and acquisition, and explains the performance in merger and acquisition of domestic solar energy solar energy photovoltaic industry through individual case analysis and comparison way. And select four companies including Sino-American Silicon Products Inc.,、Wafer Works Corp、Motech Industries Inc.、E-Ton Solar as analytical foundation. The findings discovered: Sino-American Silicon is the best in the aspect of profitability ability and productivity ability; Motech is the best in the aspect of growth ability, and stability ability. Totally speaking, Motech has the best managerial performance after merger and acquisition.
