There are 105 psychiatric social works in the northern of for the current analysis. All analysis were carried out using scale investigation, descriptive statistics, t-test, analysis of variance, Pearson correlation and multiple regression analysis. Then the findings are as follow: 1.Psychiatric social workers’ personal characteristics including age, educational level, graduated degrees, work experience, managerial positions. There are significant differences shown in work stress. 2.Psychiatric social workers’ organizational characteristics in the different level of hospitals that they serve including religious backgrounds, level of psychiatric social workers, psychiatric social education and work experience, the number of psychiatric social workers show significance in work stress. 3.Psychiatric social workers’ personal characteristics in different education levels show significance in their coping strategies. 4.Psychiatric social workers’ organizational characteristics in the different level of hospitals that they serve show significance in coping strategies. 5.Types of the nature of work stress including organizational roles, career planning, people relationships, organizational structures and emotional coping strategies show significant correlations in job stress in psychiatric social workers. 6.Role of organizations and emotion coping strategies are significant predictors of job stress in psychiatric social worker. 7.Finally, the researcher provides recommendations for the system, professional groups, institution management and future researches based on the results.
