People may have different world views even facing the same circumstance. If we cannot understand or appreciate the human behavior, we will feel depressed and confused with the behaviors which are not coincidence with our world view. These kinds of conflicts are common. For example, sometimes you cannot understand why your child does that? Why your husband is stupid in marriage? We are always and easily complain about things which do not meet our expectation. If we don’t try to understand the reason of the different behaviors, it’s easy we are going to get angry. But in fact, every behavior can have its reasons. Many researchers had confirmed that human behavior is affected by past experiences. For instance, attachment theory advocated the sense of security by the time baby will be affected human’s identification of relationships when they grow up (Bowlby, 1982a; 1988b). Based on these theories, we may understand that past experiences can influence our future behavior responses. But what does past experience affect us? Do we form different state of minds after some events and change our lives? Although setbacks could make us feel scared, but it does not mean setbacks cause the same result on everyone. One setback may let the person depressed, while the other setback may let the other person be more adventurous. Accordingly, things happened on us can be the reasons of our future behavior responses. But the attitude we form to face it is what really affects our life. The purpose of the study is to explore how one’s self-worth affects one’s life choice. The implication of the study is to hope each one to get hold of his/her life. HSU, SHENG-HSUN 徐聖訓 2010 學位論文 ; thesis 42 zh-TW |
