When playing typical Chinese musical instruments, including Yangqin, Dizi, and especially plucking instruments such as Zheng and Guqin, players strive to accomplish "the complement of sound by means of yun". However, the representation and methodology about yun is traditionally done only when a master demonstrates in person, an occasion when only his apprentices will have the opportunity to inherit the technique. In this paper, a technique for automatic recognition of sliding-tone in Zheng music is provided. It can translate a Zheng performance into its corresponding score and label all sliding-tones in the performance with detailed properties. This technique will be a powerful tool for the content-based analysis of Zheng music as well as for improving the quality of Zheng self-learning. Liu, Chih-Chin 劉志俊 2010 學位論文 ; thesis 0 zh-TW |
