Summary:碩士 === 中華大學 === 企業管理學系碩士班 === 98 === The main purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of the innovative teaching capability on the teaching effectiveness of elementary school teachers in Taichung County . Methods adopted in this study were conducted through questionnaire and literature review. The samples were 200 public elementary school teachers in Taichung County in the academic year 2009. There were 192 effective questionnaires with a 96% return rate. The collected questionnaires were analyzed by descriptive statistics, Pearson product-moment correlation and stepwise multiple regression analysis. The major findings of this research were summarized as follows: 1. The current conditions of both elementary school teachers’ innovative teaching capability and teaching effectiveness in Taichung County were good. 2. Overall, there was modest positive correlation between the elementary school teachers' innovative teaching capability and the teaching effectiveness. 3. For each aspect of the teachers' innovative teaching capability, it was the innovative capability of belief, teaching strategy and multiple assessment that had high prediction in the overall teaching effectiveness while the teaching resources did not have prediction in the overall teaching effectiveness.
