| Summary: | 碩士 === 長庚大學 === 資訊工程學系 === 98 === Complex networks are often used to describe natural (ex: gene regulation network and food web network) and social (ex: scientists or directors relationships) phenomena. Link is an important element of complex networks, which means different degrees of the link strength have various and important impacts on the network. However, few studies had a clear definition of the link strength in the past. This study will define the degrees of the link strength and proposed the hierarchy of the link strength clearly in order to understand the impacts on complex networks about different link strengths from local to global area. This study will find out the importance of all links of different degree, which can verify the influence of strong links on degrees of clustering and the influence of weak links on degrees of separation. In addition, we can summarize the network fingerprint and common features of network type to classify each complex network by the link composition properties. Compared with the past research, this study has a more detailed analysis of complex networks.
