碩士 === 中州技術學院 === 工程技術研究所 === 98 === ABSTRACT This research aims to investigate into the relationship between personal characteristics and work stress of the accounting personnel at Changhua County Government, treating personal characteristics as the independent variable, work stress as the dependent variable in different control variables. In order to reach the purposes mentioned above, this research adopts the survey method to distribute questionnaires to accounting personnel of school and of Changhua County Government, retrieving 178 questionnaires altogether. Among them the effective sample is 155, analyzing them through statistical methods such as descriptive statistical analysis, t-test analysis, variation analysis, relevant analysis and multiple regression analysis, and then drawing five following conclusions: First, conscientiousness of the accounting personnel of Changhua County Government is considerably high. Second, marital status and age of the accounting personnel of Changhua County Government are viewed as significant variables of individual background. Third, fatigue is considered as accounting personnel's greatest work stress of Changhua County Government. Fourth, among variables of individual background, working place is the most principal factor to influence one`s work stress. Fifth, personal characteristics of accounting personnel of Changhua County Government and work stress appear relevant and having strength of prediction. Finally, some concrete suggestions about the accounting personnel of Changhua County Government are suggested.
