Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 台灣文學所 === 98 === In Taiwan, a literary trend of local color has been raised since 1990. Under this trend, the collection of the local authors’ works, the collation of the regional literary history, and the contests of the prize of local color literature have all proceeded. This thesis will present how and why this trend emerges and will also demonstrate the features of those literary works which are influenced by the trend of constructing the regionalism. This thesis also pays attention to the issues of being marginalized in Kinmen. Therefore, this thesis will search and study the local literary works in Kinmen, trying to figure out under the trend of regionalism, how the local literary works in Kinmen deal with the issues of being marginalized and what content and texts those literary works will present. This thesis can be mainly divided into three parts: the circumstances, the carriers, and the textual analysis. First of all, in chapter two, the effects of official policies, of movement of localization, and of debates of the localism literatures will be analyzed. From the analysis readers then can perceive the transitions in politics, society, and literary fields in Taiwan during these decades and can observe how these circumstances influence the construction of the local color. Chapter three is about how the local literary history and the prize of local color literature emerge, what their functions are, and what limitations and obstacles they will face. In chapter four and chapter five, the analysis of some works from the collections of the local authors in Kinmen and from the prizes of local color literature will be demonstrated; from the analysis readers then can learn how these two carriers sift and select the works and what these selected works present. Chapter six is the conclusion and will points out some flaws that will be found in the development of the regionalism literature nowadays. Hope this thesis can enable readers to learn more about Kinmen and then can make readers introspect and perceive the issues of marginalization which happened in the surrounding islands of Taiwan.
