Then it was researched in two ways. The horizontal way to explore the type, the ceremony, the organization and culture of Gods’ parties in Chau-Tian Temple in Bei-gang. The vertical way to discuss the origin and the change of folk art and troupe art culture in Bei-gang area from Chin-dynasty, Japanese ruling period to Republic of China today. Second chapter explores the spread and the development of Ma-zu’s belief. Ma-zu’s belief in Taiwan was derived from Putian Meizhou in Fujian Province, China. Then the chapter deals with the center of Ma-zu’s belief in Taiwan, Chau-Tian Temple, and explores the origin and the change through the history, the architecture, the ritual, the religion, and the monks so on. Finally the chapter discusses the interactions among Chau-Tian Temple in Bei-gang and other Ma-zu’s temples in Taiwan over the past century. Third chapter studies the organization and the operation of gods’ parties of Chau-Tian Temple in Bei-gang. For the sake that gods’ parties of Chau-Tian Temple in Bei-gang have formed a belief system since Chin-dynasty, they have developed to the oldest and the largest organization. Gods’ parties of Chau-Tian Temple in Bei-gang have four types, including sedan parties, shop parties, troupes parties, and the other parties that are attached to altars of the other temples. Then the chapter deals with the organization culture, the foundation history and the ritual activities of gods’ parties in Bei-gang, as well as the interaction with Chau-Tian Temple in Bei-gang. Fourth chapter explores the inheritance relationship between gods’ parties of Chau-Tian Temple and folk culture in Bei-gang area. In Chin-dynasty residents in Ben-gang held grand walking around activity on March 29th on lunar calendar when Ma-zu’s ride arrived at Ben-gang from Ma-zuTemple in Meizhouin Mainland China. In Japanese ruling period, god’s parties of Chau-Tian Templecontinued Ma-zu’s ritual ceremony in Chin-dynasty, forming many art troupes groups that held the most grand temple activity in the island. Since Republic China period, in 60’s walking around activity has rebuilt the same size as that in the past. The last chapter of the paper has suggestions, with the hope that it will bring benefits to gods’ parties of Chau-Tian Temple in Bei-gang and art troupe culture in Bei-gang area. none 蔡相煇 2010 學位論文 ; thesis 169 zh-TW
