Summary:碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 電機工程所 === 98 === In this thesis, three antennas are investigated and used for receiving signals from digital video broadcasting. The first one is the rod antenna with a small printed circuit board to match the Ultra High Frequency (UHF) band from 470 to 860 MHz. Additionally, a cable “5C-HFB-NL” with a length of 2.5m is employed. The other two antennas are to explore the symmetrical and asymmetrical designs. In the asymmetrical dipole antenna, the antenna body with several triangular curvatures can provide multiple good matching points of the UHF band. In the symmetrical antenna, multiple loops are adopted where some loops are filled to improve the matching performance. Especially, this symmetrical antenna is integrated with a low noise amplifier to become an active antenna. This antenna under an active or passive operational mode can yield good receiving performance for digital TV.
