碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 教育學研究所 === 98 === This research aims to study the city and county supervisors’ practice and growth of supervision school affairs, to understand the supervisor’s to exercise power, to bring the influence, to act the suitable role, the way of communicate, the specialized growth and the expect of supervision school affairs. This research was designed as a qualitative research. interview methods were adopted, to generalize the data. According to probed the document and the analysis of the result, this research conclusion included:
1. The supervisors often exercise the legitimate power、the reward suggested power、
to exercise the coercive power timely and to exercise the expert power , it seldom
to exercise the referent power of supervision school affair. And the supervisors are
major to exercise the democratic supervision.
2. The supervisors to make use of the positive spirit、to build the extensive personal
networks influence、to bring the important position of supervisors. All of this methods
can bring the supervisors influence.
3. The supervisors to act the versatile roles including:(1) The role of communication.
(2) The role of coordinate. (3) The role of consult. (4) The role of suggestion. (5) The role of arbitration. (6) The role of cope with a crisis. (7) The role of observation. (8) The role of service. (9) The role of expert. And the supervisors major to act the human resources link role.
4. The supervisors have the functions of versatility including:(1) The supervisors、the
instructional supervision group and the curriculum supervisors need to cooperation
each other. (2) The supervisors are possessed of the patience and the endurance ability.
(3) The supervisors are possessed of the sympathy. (4) The supervisors resemble super
sales. (5) The supervisors should to make use of the time management. (6) to keep good
in touch with the mass media. (7) to follow the education act and the education policy.
5. The supervisors and the schools keep good in touch each other, including:(1) To make
use the two-way communication. (2) To make use the internal communication.(3)Instant
communication. (4) The observer assistedcommunication. (5) Informal communication. (6)
Continued communication.
6. The education supervision system have two major dimension problems, One is the
system problem, another is the personal problem individually.
7. The channel of the supervisors specialized field growth that major to make use of and
another person assist. The aspect of oneself pursue further education, including:(1)
oneself pursue further education and to learn the new information. (2) to attend the
instructional supervision group. (3) In-service education and to build a special issue of
supervisors as well as the website of supervisors. The aspect of another person assist
have commissioners、colleagues as well as the experts assist.
8. After the supervisors education supervision, the supervisors can through oneself
experience、practice and continued learning to promote growth. Including, (1) The
supervisors have to accept the work that have society pursue further education. (2)
to pursue the simplify that can promote administration efficiency. (3) The technique about communication and coordinate are very important. (4) To keep good personal
networks in touch. (5) The supervisors have good attitude to tell the schools how to resolved the problems clearly. (6) To comprehensive understand Department of education professional work that can assist the education supervision. (7) To face the
people and things can become flexible. (8) To Continue doing by learning.
9. The supervisors have two major dimensions expectation about the education supervision
system. One is the system problem, another is the personal problem individually.
Suggestions proposed on the basis of the research conclusion, to serve as consult for the city and county supervisors、schools and education administrators and to future research.
