Summary:碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 物理所 === 98 === For measuring magnetic properties of the sample in Ultra-high vacuum chamber, we setup AC-MOKE system based on Magnetic-optical Kerr Effect and single modulation techniques. We take Ni and Co0.06Ni0.94 on Cu(001) films to calibrate the system and obtain the best measured parameters. Combining AC-MOKE and MEED (Medium energy electron diffraction), we investigate between the thickness of Ni/Cu(001) and the corresponding magnetic properties. It is found that the coercivity Hc of Ni and its saturation magnetization Ms varies along with the thickness. Besides, we used AC-MOKE to monitors the oxygen effect on the magnetic behavior in Co0.06Ni0.94/Cu(001) , We improved the experimental method, and find that its easy axis changes by oxygen exposure.
