To explore the relationship between the impact of declining birthrate and transformation of mini schools. 2. To understand the perspectives transformative learning process of mini school principles. 3. To analyze the transformative strategies of mini school principles. 4. To explore the obstacles and methods when mini school principles facing the mini school transformative process.5. To propose suggestions to the principles and relevant associations according to the research result. This study is based on qualitative research method with semi-structured interviews. Analysis and conclusions are made by interviewing three mini school principals. 1. The declining birthrate has resulted in high quality education development of mini schools. 2. The mini school principles’ perspective towards mini school existence is transforming due to the inner unbalance. 3. Mini school principles’ pressure about the cutting down and mergence of mini schools are relevant to personal experiences, characters and organization characteristics . 4. Mini school principles must establish the ability required for mini school transformation in advance or learn the ability from the actions. 5. The transformative learning process of mini school principles’ perspective towards mini school existence is supposed to trace back the experiences and learn from the past. 6. The mini school principles’ perspective towards mini school existence is an ongoing process in search of balance by constant revision. 7. The mini school principles’ perspective towards mini school existence requires no certain transformative process pattern. 8. Mini school transformations requires a decent action strategy. 9. The encounter of inner and outer problems during mini school transformation has to be conquered. 10. The mini school transformation requires good policy, finance, human and resource supporting systems. Several suggestions are made according to the research conclusion. 1.Suggestions to the mini school principles: Principles should be aware of the significance and value of the existence of mini schools before the transformation. The key to success is to create a differentiation characteristics by using advantages. Principals should communicate more with the communities, parents, teachers , and build up consensus on school transformation. Mini school transformation requires both the quality family life and growing opportunities of the members. Principals should be the catalyst of the perspective transformation. 2.Suggestions to the education associations : When making mini school mergence policy, the government should communicate with the locals. The government should provide policy and financial support, and assist the potential schools to transform. In addition, to train the principles to be adult education teachers, to help teachers learn and grow. The assigned principles should understand the perspectives of the existence of mini schools and expand the opportunity for successful mini schools to serve the communities. 3.Suggestions for future research: To have deepen exploration on other mini school principles in terms of the perspective transformative theory. To explore the perspective transformative learning process of mini school existence with different research objects.
