Summary:碩士 === 國防大學理工學院 === 機械工程碩士班 === 98 === Because of the improving technology, the design of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV) is continuously being, improved and implemented. Its increasing capability proves a good platform for the completions of missions. Base on the growth in the budget for UAV from Department of Defense of the United State, the growth in the development of UAV in commercial market, becomes a future trend in both military and commercial applications. The UAV applications are limited if human control is required. It depends on experienced operation, or the flight status may out of control. The purpose of this research is using an onboard computer to collect the information of flight status, and to capture image that are required by the mission. The collected information is then transmitted back to the ground control center to assist the operator. The flight status and image are collected using gyroscopes, global positioning system(GPS) receiver and a camera. The information is transmitted via 3.5G wireless network interface to the control center. The experiments were conducted both on the ground and in the air. It shows that the framework proposed in this study is workable.
