Summary: | 碩士 === 國防大學理工學院 === 電子工程碩士班 === 98 === In this thesis, three small-size internal antennas embedded in laptop computer for LTE wireless systems are proposed. In the first antenna design, the coupling feed is incorporated to the inverted-F-shaped antenna to achieve a dual-resonance excitation in the lower band such that the obtained bandwidths can easily cover six bands of LTE 700/GSM 850/GSM 900/DCS/PCS/UMTS operation. The second antenna design is an open-loop antenna with a small antenna size of 55 × 8 × 4 mm3. The coupling feed is also used in the open-loop antenna for successful excitation of two wide operating bands to cover all the desired operating bands of LTE systems. The last antenna design having the same design idea as the second antenna design is developed under the different environmental condition. Furthermore, the effects of the length of the antenna’s coaxial feed line on radiation efficiency are also studied. Enough wide operating bandwidths and good radiation characteristics make the proposed antennas very promising for applications in laptop computer application.
