The current distribution task heavily relies on the managerial experience or some transportation operating rules, resulting in overly long transportation routes and thus waste tremendous amount of human resources. In this regard, the study aims to operations of military logistics involving vehicle routing problems with simultaneous deliveries and pickups (VRPSDP) to establish an improved genetic algorithm (HGA). The cases of VRPSDP models from international website demonstrate the efficacy of the established HGA which is capable of optimizing the VRPSDP within fifty points.
