While internet and computers help people to solve problems for team works by eliminating the barriers of space and time, they also produce new prob-lems such as the interface complexity of modern digital tools and improper usabil¬ity for children. Augmented reality is able to combine the image of physical objects and virtual information in the same digital environment. The intuitive interface and enhanced usabil¬ity of augmented reality provide new and interesting interaction experience for children. In this study, augmented reality is design to embed in a com¬puter-supported collaborative working system to aid children to produce 3D anima¬tion. Children can learn to create their animation collaboratively. The interface is easy to operate and learn. Through the interesting way of team work, it is observed that the children are more willing to work cooperatively and become more creative.
