碩士 === 元智大學 === 管理研究所 === 97 === This thesis analyzed some reasons why companies are keen on deploying the business performance management solution (BPM) under the competitive environment. The thesis started with analyzing the challenge and management problems that most companies face today, followed by studied the current market solutions providers and how these solutions can help companies solve the problems. We next studied a case company to examine what reasons drive them to choose the BPM solution, and what criterion should be considered when selecting the vendors. We finally tried to summarize some key success factors during the deployment and reason that how these factors had their effects upon the improvement of the business performance.
