Most plant resistance gene products contain distinctive sequence features. Because plant disease-resistance genes are of paramount importance to resistance breeding program and disease control, we constructed a database for studying the sequence features and structural motifs of plant disease resistance genes. Our database provides a collection of experimentally validated plant disease-resistance genes, their sequence records, functional domain, and sequence motifs as well. The database for plant disease-resistance genes will help researchers to explore previous research results more efficiently, and will expand knowledge of disease-resistance related functional domain.
