Description
Summary:碩士 === 元培科技大學 === 放射技術研究所 === 97 === The aim of this study aims to discuss the effect of multiple axis error, resulted from patient movement such as cough and sneeze after localization, for IGRT (Image-Guided Radiation Therapy). After CT images of the head of Rando phantom were obtained, artificial movement was made and then corrected by the XVI system for multiple axis error evaluation with both the Bone and the Gray modes, respectively. The results showed that the XVI system would severely under-orover-estimate artificial movement (> 0.3 cm) both in single axis and double axis correction, especially for adjustment in Y axis. Furthermore, the Gray mode exhibited higher operating speed but more insufficient reliability than those of the Bone mode.We suggested the Bone mode as the standard reference for quality assurance and control for axis error correction in IGRT.
