Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 通訊工程研究所碩士班 === 97 === The purpose of this study is to detect the behavior of mouse mating using video surveillance. Automatic analysis and determination the time happened and number of mouse mating in the video by the proposed system to save researchers’observation time. First, the mouse movement in a cage is detected by using the background subtraction method, and then obtain whole mouse image by using the image processing techniques to remove the noise. When two mice contact, the features of contour and the average mean square error (MSE) value of the previous and current images in the sequence can be obtained. Then we can successfully detect the mating behavior in the recorded video. However, for the three mice case, in order to correctly obtain the contour of the two mating mice, the step of object segmentation is necessary. Experimental results show that 87.0% of both the precision and recall accuracy can be achieved for the case of two mice. On the other hand, the detection results of the three mice case are 76.2% and 80.0%, respectively.
