Summary:碩士 === 雲林科技大學 === 環境與安全工程系碩士班 === 97 === Nowadays, computer is a necessary tool for our life. We can understand the usage condition of chemicals from hazardous material lists to meet practically the requirement of hazardous communication regulation. However, how to debug these lists as well as how to manage them effectively would become an important issue for us to deal with. This study is to design a use-friendly computer code to assist above-mentioned management. The steps and methods of this study include: (1) To understand the process of input, output and inventory for chemicals management; (2) To distinguish data property of independence (independent variable) or dependence (dependent variable), the former should be provided such as amount used, while the later and should be generated automatically by the code, such as inventory; (3) To collect currently practical operation processes and hazardous material list-related information such as the procedures to buy or to use chemical, and the task to fill out a list; (4) To plan and to design hazardous material list-related data bases and user interfaces to reduce human errors; (5)To learn database program language Borland Delphi; (6)To design a more user-friendly computer code for the management of hazardous material lists; (7) To test and correct the code. The result of this study may improve the quality and accuracy of the hazardous material list management. The storage and usage amount of hazardous chemical management may be known at an instance, the lists may be provided automatically. It will save a lot of the human resources, while the hazardous material is managed.
