In dynamic systems, if both input and output have digital values, such problems are called digital-digital dynamic characteristics or digital systems. When the signal factor levels are classified into two classes and the output is classified into two or more classes, two or more error will be occurred in experiments. The digital systems are widely applied in the fields of telecommunication, computer operations and chemistry. For example, the chemical processes of metal refinement, element extraction and element separation can be viewed as a digital system that has two or more kinds of error. The SN ratio recommended by Taguchi is based on the errors with the same loss coefficient to optimize the problem where the output is classified into two classes. However, the losses due to the two types of errors are not equal in practice, especially in the field of biotechnology, chemistry and metal processing. This thesis presents contains two parts for optimizing the digital systems. The first part of proposes a general model for optimizing parameter design and selecting threshold value of leveling operation in the digital-digital multiple dynamic characteristics where the output is classified into two classes. The second part of will propose an optimal robust design for the digital systems where the output is classified into three or more classes. The implementation and the effectiveness of the proposed approach are illustrated through case studies. Ful-Chiang Wu 吳復強 2009 學位論文 ; thesis 66 zh-TW |
