Description
Summary:碩士 === 大同大學 === 通訊工程研究所 === 97 === In recent years, wireless distributed microsensor systems enable the reliable monitoring of a variety of environments for military applications. Clustering in the LEACH scheme for wireless sensor network is one of the important research issues. Although clustering can reduce more energy consumption than direct transmitting, selecting cluster heads randomly may increase the energy consumption due to the communication between each cluster member and its cluster head. In this thesis, we combine a cluster-head selection algorithm with cluster heads rotation to send data back to the base station. The simulation result shows that the the system proposed is more energy-efficient than the multi-hierarchical clustering approach system by 3 to 5 percent.
