Summary:碩士 === 臺北巿立體育學院 === 運動教育研究所 === 97 === Abstract Purpose of this study aims to: (1) Understand the current statuses of physical self-concept, attitude towards physical education and the health-related fitness for school children at Taipei Municipal Guang Fu Elementary School; (2) Compare the variances for different background variables in physical self-concept, attitude towards physical education and health-related fitness at this school; (3) Explore related scenarios for these three items mentioned in (2). The survey query approach was used to collect needed information. And the surveys included (a) Student background information; (b) Physical self-concept measurement chart; (c) Attitude towards physical education measurement chart; (d) Test information for health-related fitness. Subjects under study adopted Taipei Municipal Guang Fu Elementary School as the main source. This research also selected the systematic sampling and random sampling methods, in addition to targeting the fourth, fifth and sixth grades with a total of five classes participation and disseminating 480 query sheets. The effective return sheets totaled at 468 copies with effective return ratio reaching as high as 97.5%. Information processing used descriptive statistics, independent t test, one-way ANOVA, Post-hoc Scheffe and Pearson product-moment correlation.Major conclusions for this research are summarized as follow: 1.In the aspect of physical self-concept for the 4th, 5th and 6th graders at Taipei Municipal Guang Fu Elementary School, the scorings were rated as medium in the standing. But the scoring for the attitude towards physical education was rated above the medium. Nonetheless, in the area of health-related fitness in comparison with those of test norm for fitness, the quality indices for majority of the students landed in the normal range. And performances for sit-up, bending forward while maintaining the sitting pose, standing long jump and running or walking in 800 meters were rated as between the average and excellent. 2.In the categories of male student, 4th grader, having participated to sports related club or organization, top 10 students in the class, the overall physical self-concept for these categories were rated better those from other categories. 3.In the categories of male student, 4th grader, and having participated to sports related club or organization, the overall attitudes towards physical education were rated better those from other categories. 4.The performances for female students in bending forward while maintaining the sitting pose, male students in standing long jump as well as 800 meters run or walk scored better than other categories. For the 6th graders, they scored better in physical quality indices as well as the sit-ups, standing long jump and walk the 800 meters. For the 4th graders, they scored better in bending forward while maintaining the sitting pose. And some of them who participated to clubs or organizations scored better in standing long jump and both the walk and run in 800 meters. For those top 10 in the class, they scored better in sit-ups, bending forward while maintaining the sitting pose, standing long jump and both run and walk in 800 meters. 5.There were positive correlations observed in the categories of self-concept and attitude towards physical education. And the overall and dimensional cognition, goodwill, action orientation for standing long jump, attitude towards physical education exhibited positive correlations. And the overall and dimensional cognition, goodwill, action orientation for 800 meters run and walk, attitude towards physical education exhibited negative correlations.
