Summary: | 碩士 === 臺北巿立體育學院 === 舞蹈碩士班 === 97 === Creative dance is the educational dance, while Life Forms dancing software is of the technological evolution for choreographing dance. Since the software is simple to use with only minute sophistication, it has been widely applied on recording dancing works as well as initiating features of physical movement. Besides, creative dance and Life Form dancing software have been both found with the functions for movement exploration in terms of movement education. The purpose of this study was to investigate children’s creative dancing program designed with Life Form dancing software so that learners could, from the elements of dance, explore their body and experience novel action vocabulary; as such, they could further develop the possibility of movement. The subjects of study were grade 4 students from Sun Elementary School of Taipei City, and a total of 24 students have taken part in the research, which was carried out with action research methodology. It was from the analysis and corroboration of program design, teaching, observation, audio-visual record, teaching journal, and learning notes so that the results of this study were verified.
Research results have indicated:
1. Life Forms dancing software could enhance the interest of students in dance learning, and stimulate them for active learning.
2. Life Forms dancing software could become the new bridge of communication between teacher and student for movement learning.
3. Life Forms dancing software could guide and lead students to associate and develop their movements by transforming the visionary image into physical movement.
