After the congested concept art in the 60s, image explosion made people be at a loss when facing various images. Gaze is originally the attitude of facing to a work of art. While facing to works, we produce a kind of reading height, keeping away form the reality and entering the arrangement of the author and the works. The unconscious view mentioned by Benjamin in “Walter Benjamin Essais”is one of the points of view, which contrarily provides the gaze of works a way out. The behavior of reading works is also possibility developed. Gaze, as the first step in reading image works, has been challenged. Seeing images has already turned form the plane into the explosively unconditional reading. In the process of reading images, “Punctum” and “Studium” have become the inner war of the author and the viewer. The problems we meet when facing images in the modern time include how to face a piece of work, how to manage the message form the image, whether the message can be transmitted, and what is the other new way or direction of reading images. The extent of two-dimensional images, no matter paintings or engravings, seems to not be able to categorized and satisfied. Here we propose the concept of “visual interval,” which is between “Punctum” and “Studium.” It is a kind of image reading which can be discussed but cannot be categorized.  “The fairy tale” is a kind of nouns with time characteristics. In the performance of art, the fairy tale reacts to the human behaviors and functionally carries out teaching lessons to the younger and the teenagers as well as creating the mood of the adult. The fairy tale always has the function of creation and education. We may investigate how to judge the meaning of the fairy tale in the image through creation itself. “The toy” is a kind of interesting things. It implements games, reflects human senses, and becomes other kind of categories or instantaneous image consumption. As a kind of works, the toy has to be thought outside the box and turns into the reading platform with high speed consumption. Besides, the toy is a kind of objects without the meaning of economic production. Comparatively, the toy itself can be a kind of spiritual support for a game player. This study focused on the relationship between the researcher and the image and discussed the changes appeared from reading image works, which mainly focused on fairy tales.
