Subjects were selected from 2008 current elementary track and field team coaches. All collected data were analyzed by descriptive-
Statistics, T-test, ANOVA, Scheffe’s Method, one-way ANOVA, repeated measures, Pearson product-moment correlation, and multiple regressions. Results were as following:
1.Five perspectives of elementary track and field team coach participation motives was responsibility as the most important factor. Others factors were self-development, satisfaction, achievement, and public relation.
2.Five perspectives of elementary track and field team coach participation constraints factors was athletes as the most important factor. Others were equipment, finance, parents, and administrative factors.
3.There were significant differences between various background of team coach participation motive in training attendance and constraints factors.
4.Negative relation was discovered between training attendance and constraints factors.
5.Athletes and Parents within constraints factors displayed significance in coach participation motive.
