| Summary: | 碩士 === 臺北市立教育大學 === 數學資訊教育學系碩士班 === 97 === The aim of this study was to develop an virtual mainframe control room system (VMCR) for in-service training in the information teachnology (IT) related jobs. The VMCR was developed by the Virtools software which can build 3D scenes to simulate real mainframe room. The system included three categories: an introduction to mainframe control room, tutorial of virtual mainframe control room, and the training procedures for fire situation in the mainframe control room. There were thirty IT staffs fill out the questionnaire about their attitude toward the VMCR after reviewsing. The results of survey indicated that their attitude toward the VMCR system were positive (M=4.23, SD=0.714). The average satisfaction of the content and interface, virtual reality effect, practical issues and the usage were 4.22,4.18, 4.25, 4.24. Overall, the results of this study indicated that apply virtual reality in job-training were beneficial for IT staff.
