Climate change is endangering living creatures on earth, including human beings. These impacts are partly due to environmental pollution. Industrial development leads the most damage to the environment. In recent years, Taiwan government pushes hard for ecological industrial parks and new environmental science and technology parks are constructed to reduce the harmful effects of industrial parks. Wastes are recycled and reused to enhance energy saving and carbon reduction. The main purpose of this study is to analyze ecological level of industrial parks in Taiwan and to devise ways to reduce the environmental impact The initial step of this study is to compile ecological indices for assessing ecological level of industrial parks. The fuzzy Delphi method is used to conduct the expert’s questionnaires to determine the best ecological indices. The analytic hierarchy process is used to establish the weighing factor for each index. Composite ecological indices are then calculated for two industrial parks in Taiwan to compare their ecological degree and to confirm feasibility of using such indices. Study results should be able to provide improvement strategies for future government policy implementation. 盧光輝 2009 學位論文 ; thesis 164 zh-TW
