Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 土木與防災研究所 === 97 === Since Taipei MRT in service, relevant authority received complains and reports from residents dwell in areas where MRT system constructed underneath. Taipei MRT Xin-Lu Line is the first construction project ever throughout nation to adopt an overseas technology of FST (Floating Slab Track), which already applied in many construction projects around the world for 30 years. FST is a recognised infrastructure trackwork technology that reduces train bourn vibration and noise. It also helps terminate pollution problem such as vibration and secondary noise. Floating Slab Track is a well-developed technology that has an extensive design in many foreign countries. However, few specialist consultants have experienced in the field of FST design, and there are experienced construction contractor to be found. Similarities may be found in the various FST systems around the world. However, FST system adopted for Taipei MRT project is required to be slightly modified on construction method and system design due to nature of geographical and contractual constraints. Drawing attentions on FST, relevant authority has been set a high expectation of the work, accepted none but success. Misjudged nuance of construction planning, sequence, procedure, effectiveness and quality will determine and influence extent of success of FST performance. The dissertation takes illustration of Taipei MRT Xin-Lu Line FST demonstration track, which is exclusive in Taiwan to analyse examples before, during and after construction. With variance comparison, I will firstly compare differences between non-ballast track that has been used for years in Taipei MRT and a first-ever FST. Secondly, interviews with professionals will be conducted and given summary in the dissertation to state FST design and basic structure. This is to clarify selection of trackbed form and related materials. Furthermore, I will analyse main constructed components installation and assembly, including main construction and verification items, review of implementation in various stages and an inductive analysis, and establish factors of construction evaluation. Lastly, I will provide suggestions and conclusions on construction planning, expected optimal benefit and FST selection for future project.
