In order to fulfilling good speed performance in start-up, and reducing the vibration and noise in high speed operation using traditional six-step commutation, the proposed scheme drives the motor from standstill using six-step commutation first. After the motor working up to a stable speed, a PLL-based SPWM is added to replace the start-up method. For further improving the torque response, a three-phase independent current control is utilized in full speed control range. Much better current control in high speed can be yielded by phase advanced of current commands to enhance system efficiency. Due to the limitation of battery terminal voltage and requirement of better climbing and accelerating performance, a DC-link voltage boosting module is employed to increase the output power of drive in a short period. For avoiding over discharging to decrease battery life during voltage boosting, a discharging current limited scheme is proposed. To facilitate the studies performed in this thesis, a low cost MCU-based motor drive is established, and the MCU M16C/62P is manufactured by Renesas. All the control schemes are fully digitally implemented using assembly language to shorten program execution time. Some measured results are provided to show its successful operation and effectiveness in speed control for PMSM. Ming-Shi Huang 黃明熙 2009 學位論文 ; thesis 86 zh-TW
