Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 資訊工程系研究所 === 97 === Baseball is one of the mainly developed sports activities in Taiwan, and baseball scout is indispensable to baseball games. As the saying goes, ” If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles.” But there is no professional systems for baseball scout in our country. In this paper, I propose a sports information record and analysis system for baseball scout. This system transfers spatial data of pitch location and temporal data during baseball games to word or numeral by using graphic user interface and implement of baseball record database based on baseball record rules. The baseball record completely stored in digital patterns, which could provide digital archive and be used for analysis and statistics of baseball scout after a long-time accumulation of baseball game records. This baseball scout system is divided into two parts – pitchers and batters. Pitchers need to know pitching tactics models of catcher, speed of balls hit by pitchers, ball types, etc; batters need to know favorite hitting zones, ball types that they are good at and not, batted ball locations, etc. The most important part of this paper is to design analytical angles that players need with all the columns in the baseball record database. This system could analyze helpful information from baseball record historical database through statistical methods. The analyzed information demonstrating the characteristics of pitchers and batters through statistics data and diagrams could be provided to coach teams to plan strategies that may increase the probability of winning, help player training and education of baseball, and other varieties of uses.
