Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 車輛工程系所 === 97 === Biodiesel must be increased in using proportion that was blended with fossil super diesel for decreasing smoke and HC concentrations of exhaust gas emission from diesel engine; otherwise the decreasing effects are not obviously as well. Thus in order to obtain obviously in decreasing smoke and HC concentrations emission in the restrict of using biodiesel proportion so far, this study blended appropriate ethanol with waste fried oil methyl ester biodiesel B10 and B50, respectively. The experimental results indicated that biodiesels BE10 and BE50 that have been blended with ethanol are decreased smoke and HC concentrations obviously in exhaust gas emission of diesel engine. Nevertheless, regarding NOx concentration and BSFC, BE10 and BE50 both are higher than fossil super-diesel. Regarding exhaust gas temperature, BE10 and BE50 both are lower than fossil super-diesel.
