The survival rate of breast cancer patient is 83.0% to 88.0% in average five years. How to promote the quality of life and the meaning in life for breast cancer patients, is a challenge for the medical service group. Since August 1, 2008 to January 31 of 2009, obtain 193 valid questionnaires (81.1% of valid rate of sampler). Object of study for Taichung's breast cancer patient, the questionnaire content includes: breast cancer patient's basic information, Purpose in life test (PIL), and EORTC QLQ-C30. Result: The breast cancer patient average age is 52.3 years old, 75% married, 86% have the children, 65% breast cancer patients have the work. The patient suffers from the breast cancer the mean time is four year and seven month. 8.3% patients have clear explicit meaning in life; 54% patients lack meaning in life obviously. The more frequency of breast cancer patient be in hospital, the lower result on physiological function, mood function, cognition function, and social function aspect, and its self-appraisal resepcts . The breast cancer patient 's meaning in life has highly relevant with the quality of life. Thus, no matter to promote the patients’ quality of life or to promote their meanings in life, will promote the relative variables in the same time. Conclusion and suggestion: The more times in hospital will reduce the self-appraisal of patient in the quality of life. The medical service group should pay more attention on quality of life of the highly-frequency hospitalized patients. In addition to new breast carcinoma patient, the medical service group sould integrate relevant resources to reduce the hospitalization frequency. 龍紀萱 2009 學位論文 ; thesis 93 zh-TW |
