If it emerges a platform leader and cooperate with all the firms, all they can form a ‘Innovational Ecology System’, and significant increase their innovation value. Along with the industrial development of semiconductor from ‘Vertical Integration’ to ‘Vertical Disintegration’, the past ‘Wafer Foundry’ has escaped from pure manufacturing scope, and it develop the role of process integrator step by step. In this study, the corporation is called the ‘Process Platform Leader’ of semiconductor industry. In this study, it has been viewed of the leading wafer foundry-TSMC in Taiwan. The analysis indexes of platform leader have been built up as the framework, and by describing of the secondary literature and case study to identify the development and transaction mechanism of TSMC become process platform leader based on four dimensions-‘scope of the firm’、‘product technology’、‘relationship with external complementors’ and ‘internal organization’. According to the result, TSMC upgrade the manufacturing ability and build the Standardization of transaction mechanism to lead the development of semiconductor industry, and by the value-added service and online information system to offer clients more choices, it not only achieve the milestone of‘effective service’but win the completely trust of clients.
