Summary: | 碩士 === 東海大學 === 工業工程與經營資訊學系 === 97 === The issues of environmental regulations and green image for supply chain have drawn much attention from both academia and practitioners. In addition, the economical benefits from more comprehensive measures of reverse logistics can be expected. Recently the capacity planners for the reuse and remanufacturing processes are facing tremendous challenges of allocating resources under numerous factors. The purpose of this study was to analyze the behaviors of reuse and remanufacturing and to take account of product life cycle, demand, recycle rate, governmental incentives on the capacity planning. Furthermore, we analyzed the impact of the quality of recycled product, remanufacturing time, and delay time. A generic system dynamic model was constructed to analyze the gap between reuse and remanufacturing capacity under various situations. The simulation results provide some managerial insight for selecting appropriate levels of reuse and remanufacturing capacity investment. Through a wide range of “what-if” analyses, the strategies of adjustment of remanufacturing time and the control of recycled product quality can significantly narrow the capacity gap between the used product collector and the remanufacturer. Moreover, the simulation results also suggest that reverse logistics can reduce the environmental impact and boost economical benefits.
