| Summary: | 碩士 === 亞洲大學 === 休閒與遊憩管理學系碩士在職專班 === 97 === A family with children usually have the experience in using public toilets, however, inconvenience like the shortage of public toilets, lack of toilet paper, and shortage of coat hangers have left them with no choice but to cope with it. This study aims to explore user’s satisfaction on using baby nursing rooms at Cingshui and Nantou Highway Service Area based on parents’ perspectives. This research started from Feb. 1st, 2009 till Mar. 15th, 2009. Four hundred and nine copies of questionnaires were distributed to the customers, 372 valid data were used to analyze the result, reaching the valid corresponding rate of 93.6 percent. The outcomes of the study are as follows:
1. Outcomes of Nantou Highway Service Area:
The top five most essential equipments for baby nursing rooms were slippery-proof floor, regular maintenance and cleaning, flushing system, wash-basin, and ample lighting. The top five most planning satisfactions were tool room, safety handrails, flushing system, room space, and safety alarm. The top five most essential equipment maintenances were ample lighting, non smoking sign, slippery-proof floor, water-saving supply, and safety alarm. The top three most satisfactions of overall cleanliness were toilet bowl cleanliness, wall and door cleanliness, mirror cleanliness.
2. Outcomes of Cingshui Highway Service Area:
The top five most essential equipments for baby nursing rooms were slippery-proof floor, wash-basin, regular maintenance and cleaning, emergency alarm, and safety handrails. The top five most planning satisfactions were safety handrails, safety alarm, slippery-proof floor, peep-proof entrance, and wash-basin. The top five most essential equipment maintenances were escaping equipment and emergency lighting, ample lighting, water-saving supply, and sensitive faucet. The top three most satisfactions of overall cleanliness were wall and door cleanliness, baby bed cleanliness, and toilet bowl cleanliness.
3. Overall comparison of Cingshui and Nantou Highway Service Area:
The comparison of all essential equipments and satisfactions between Cingshui and Nantou Highway Service Area had no significant differences.
Regarding of the results of this study, there were some differences between the essential requirements for Cingshui and Nantou Highway Service Area. It was to suggest the Governments and private sectors to base on perspectives of parents and children to plan and build good environments for family.
