Two Chinese yams, D. alata L. cv. Tainong No. 1 (TN1) and D. alata L. cv. Tainong No.2 (TN2) are harvested in Taiwan. In this study, the market for the common yam in Taiwan TN1 and TN2, tubers, respectively, after the separation of their skin, with water extraction. Will be rice bran TN2 skin made of the water extract ointment and found that early trauma can promote the transforming growth factor (transforming growth factor-β) expression, which constitutes a cell to extracellular matrix (extracellular matrix)-related proteins such as collagen and fibronectin increased performance, contribute to wound healing. In addition, on the rice bran TN2 yam root extract water jacket for the rabbits there is no skin irritation and eye irritation role. The results of this experiment can be used as for the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries yam future technologies related to the development of reference preparations.
