碩士 === 大仁科技大學 === 休閒健康管理研究所 === 97 === The main purpose of this study is to understand the current situation of　leisure sport motive participating type and condition, leisure attitude and leisure sport participating motivation of police personnel. The subjects of this study are Chiayi City police personnel. This study uses the questionnaire survey procedure, Picks the lamination random sampling. 326 questionnaires were valid. An analysis of all the data collected is made by statistical methods such t-test, one-way ANOVA, factor analysis, Pearson product-moment correlation, etc. The results are as follows: 1. The total leisure sport participation situation was still low. To engaged leisure sport time interval aspect and time were uncertain. After the leisure sport，there are about 66% could feel very comfortable. 2. The most participated leisure sport of police personnel were outdoor leisure sport. The least participated sport was the risky movement. 3. Varied demographic variables do not appear difference of significance on the causes of leisure attitude and leisure sport participating motivation. The leisure attitude of the police personnel tended to be positive. Leisure cognitive dimension scored highest, and the behavioral dimension possessed the lowest. The leisure sport participation motivation of the police personnel tended to be positive. Health-Improving and extend the pressure is more regards. 4. There was a positive relation between the leisure attitude and leisure sport participating motivation of police personnel. That was to say, the more positive leisure attitude, the higher leisure sport participating motivation. This research outcome can suggestion the political unit to draw up reference of the police leisure policy.
