Dr. Hsin-yi Shyu (2004) further developed forms for instructors to follow when designing their courses. This study is a case study researching the process of digital material production that a college teacher has experienced. Based on the forms of ADDIE, a model of systematic instructional design, the researcher interviewed a college teacher for her development and implementation process in teaching materials production and found the challenges she faced as below: (A) There are so many media types that college lecturers can not do everything on their own. (B) Due to time constraints, college lecturers find it difficult to have time to learn all kinds of skills for material production on their own. (C) College lecturers worked alone on the way to material production. Without support, teachers find it difficult to achieve their goal. This study finds the forms developed by Dr. Hsin-yi Shyu are more suitable for developing courses. However, for developing multimedia materials for courses, the main development content should stress more on media design and add the forms for developing digital teaching materials in order to meet the goals of instructional design and media design. In addition, this study also used the ADDIE-Eavluation Blossom Model to find out which ADDIE step needs to be improved on developing multimedia materials process for courses in the hope of improving the quality and developing efficiency of teaching materials.
