Summary:碩士 === 南台科技大學 === 電機工程系 === 97 === The solar radiation and temperature data from the Central Weather Bureau during years of 2003 to 2008 are used to simulate the capacity planning of stand-alone photovoltaic system in the seven locations of Taiwan. The constrained optimization problem is to minimize the installation cost after considering the system reliability. The thesis takes loss of load hours per year as a reliability index to evaluate the optimal allocation of photovoltaic system. Test of goodness of fit is conducted to confirm the representative of the resultant six order polynomial constrain function. The cost ratio and different load variations in the photovoltaic system are tested to demonstrate the impacts of the optimal capacity of solar cell and battery. Several weather and photovoltaic data are monitored and recorded by a meteorological observing system and SCADA system installed in the electrical engineering department of Southern Taiwan University. The operational mode of hybrid photovoltaic system and power grid has designed and demonstrated by the recorded waveforms of the system.
