碩士 === 南台科技大學 === 科技管理研究所 === 97 === Abstract The innovative point of the study is to submit the idea that the ability to use external knowledge for a high-tech firm is one of the most important abilities. Meanwhile, a firm must build a platform to accelerate knowledge flow. The root for a firm to acquire performance is to make use of external knowledge, and develop new knowledge assets. Starting from the effect of knowledge network and knowledge infrastructure on knowledge absorptive capacity, the influence of the three factors on competitive advantages of firms in industrial cluster is analyzed. Empirical analysis was used to explore the relation among knowledge network, knowledge infrastructure, knowledge absorptive and competitive advantages of firms in industrial cluster. The study subjects were the high-technology industries in Hsinchu, Central Taiwan and Southern Taiwan Science Park, and a total of 165 valid questionnaires were retrieved. An empirical analysis was conducted through variance, multiple regression, and canonical correlation analysis, and came up with the following conclusions: 1. Knowledge network characteristic of a firm in industrial cluster has positive influence on its knowledge absorptive capacity. 2. Internal knowledge infrastructure of a firm has positive influence on its knowledge absorptive capacity. 3. Knowledge absorptive capacity of an organization has positive influence on competitive advantages of a firm in industrial cluster. 4. Knowledge network of a firm in industrial cluster is correlated to its internal knowledge infrastructure. 5. At different developing stage, there is different degree of knowledge network characteristic and knowledge absorptive capacity, and different effect on competitive advantages of a firm in industrial cluster.
