The purpose of this research was to understand college students’ resilience, intimacy relationship, and the differences between male and female students . This research selected college students from national universities, private universities, universities of science, college of technology in the Southern Taiwan who had dating experiences. The researcher used Delaminate Purposive Sam to select the questionnaires. A total of 490 questionnaires were valid. The data was analyzed by descriptive statistics, one-way ANOVA independent samples and Linear Structural Relationships. The summary of study: (1) the resilience scores in “ Conquering Difficulties” of college students were the highest; “Vital Sparking” were the second one; “Stress Adaption” were the lowest; (2) the scores of college students’ “Intimacy in Relationship” in "emotional intimacy" were the highest, followed by "Close Communication", "Social Intimacy," and "Physical Intimacy"; the "Emotional Intimacy" scores were the lowest (3) the resilience scores of male college students in "difficult to conquer", "to adapt to stress" levels were higher than female with significant differences. (4) the scores of ones with boy/girl friends" in the "difficult to conquer" to the maximum showed the significant differences; in the "refreshed" level, alse had a significant difference among who once had had a boy/girl friends (one of the most profound memory of boy/girl friends) . (5) the scores of male college students on the "intimate relationship" in the "emotional intimacy," "physically intimacy” level were higher than the fraction of female students. (6)college students having a boy/girl friend were significantly different than others on the “intimate relationship” in the “emotional intimacy”, “social intimacy”, “communicational intimacy”, “spiritual intimacy” and "physical intimacy" (7) college students having a religion belief were significantly different than others on the “intimate relationship” in the “spiritual intimacy” (8)resilience had positive effect to the intimate relationships. Valid sample data were processed by using statistics methods. The conclusions and recommendations were based on the statistical results and hopefully could provide useful information for related parties. Key words: Resilience and intimacy relationships.
