There are C-shape, U-shape, Ω-shape, and S-shape bellows assembled as the piping compensator. Axial displacements in extension and compression are investigated subjects through simulation, experiments, and analysis; as well as lateral deflection and angular rotation based on the computation of EJMA standards. To apply the commercial CAD software—Solidwork, the profile of bellows is constructed and transferred into the ANSYS Workbench to perform the finite element analysis. According to the different boundary conditions, the simulating results for various stresses could be obtained, compared to the experimental results via strain gauges and the stress tester. In theoretical calculation, the meridional and circumferential stresses were computed by the EJMA standards. The validation for engineering meaning is also processed through the comparison of simulating, experimental, and calculating results.
