| Summary: | 碩士 === 世新大學 === 資訊管理學研究所(含碩專班) === 97 === Due to the quick change in the global business environment, the continuous innovation of information technology, and commercial demand, businesses have been inspired to develop different kinds of information systems. Currently, under the effect of the global economic crisis, businesses have started to cut their budgets and the entire business environment is unprecedentedly affected.
Legacy system is known for its enclosed construction, lack of flexibility, and difficulties for expansion. So introducing a new system might be able to improve the problems of legacy system. However, legacy system has advantages over the new system, such as reliability, stability, and the experience that has been tested over the years.
However, legacy system still has to face the challenges of maintenance and flexibility in the development process of SOA. This research will be based on the SOA entry points: reuse, designing a system migration, and a restructure module. It will focus on credit card transaction system and undergo analysis to determine valuable information. By going through the process of analysis, component design, implementation, and combination, the legacy system will be more flexible and become the service provider in the SOA.
