Council Labor Affairs, Executive Yuan recently also notices that the problem of labor overworking or depression from job stress becomes serious. In the previous study, employees with a single job property in a business have been studies. The research mainly studies the case of Yang Ming Marine Transport Corp in which the crew members with sailing mission in the shipping department have been wholly examined. The number of examined crews highly reaches 878. The examining method using satellite to transmit the examination to the ship overall the world was never applied in the past. The job stress is affected from an individual and an organization environment according to the traditional interaction thesis of social psychology in the research. The individual factor in the research includes aspects of sexuality, marriage status, the level of education, job seniority and job classification. In the organization environment factor of the research, the job department of examined workers is used as a variable of influencing job stress. The job stress cognition section is divided into the parts of an organization management, an individual role, a workload, a working environment and a job property for study. In the research, employee stress of the case is discovered from three aspects: the workload, the individual role and the working environment. The differences of sexuality, the level of education, job seniority and job classification also affect the difference of job stress perception. The research advises business managers that the management strategy of employee stress should be set about a precautionary point of view. Regarding to different job property, businesses should offer different job stress management methods.
